How does the installation and activation of DIGI Fiber work?

The installation of DIGI Fiber is done through an existing conduit or, if necessary, by drilling a small, discreet hole that is fully sealed. In apartment buildings, the fiber is installed via the vertical tube running along the stairwell.
 
Practical info:
  • The installation takes about 90 minutes and is done by two technicians.
  • They will install the fiber and set up your DIGI Internet Box.
  • The installation is completely free of charge.
 
Important: Please note that you'll need to be at home during the installation.

Download and Upload Speed

The download and upload speeds depend on your IT hardware, your internal cabling, and router.

The download speed at home depends mainly on the distance between the connection point and the exchange. The speeds stated are available when connecting via a cable. The speeds may be lower when using a Wi-Fi connection.

Unlimited Internet Volume

The DIGI Unlimited Internet offers are solely for private and personal use. The unlimited nature of the service cannot be assured, particularly in cases of fraud, dishonest usage, usage infringing the rights of third parties, particularly the intellectual property of third parties, or use that constitutes an abuse within the meaning of case law.

Mobile

Unlimited Mobile offers

The DIGI Unlimited Mobile offers are solely intended for normal, personal and private use. This normal usage allows the customer to make intensive use of the services provided by DIGI. Usage that exceeds a total of 6.000 min /month and 6.000 SMS / month or 500 SMS /day or sending SMS to more than 250 different recipients per month is considered to be abnormal. In case of exceeding this rule, the usage is blocked and no additional cost is applied.

Data

Data usage is calculated per KB. In Belgium and in European Union, once the volume of data included in your offer is attained, the extra data consumption will be charged at 0,0006€ per MB(or 0,6€ per GB). Unused minutes, SMS and data cannot be carried forward to the following month.

The DIGI Mobile offer is valid in Belgium and while traveling (roaming) in the European Union zone, except for Value Added Services (e.g., Premium numbers, third-party services):Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

The DIGI TV offer and its content are exclusively intended for use in the private and family personal and private sphere The subscriber assumes full responsibility for the choice and confidentiality of their password. The subscriber agrees not to disclose their password and codes to any third party other than persons residing at the same address. Under no circumstances may the service be used for copying or recording on any medium whatsoever or for retransmission or public broadcasting of the programmes. Without prejudice to DIGI’s right to terminate the contract of any subscriber who contravenes this provision, the latter shall be liable to civil and criminal proceedings.

Each subscription to the DIGI TV offer allows access to the service with up to 5 devices and 3 streams in parallel.
