Your result may be affected by the distance between your device and the router, walls and other obstacles, interference and the number of connected devices. As a result, the test may give a different result than when you are connected directly via Ethernet.

What do the results mean?
About this speed test
A speed test measures the performance of your internet connection at the time you run the test. The result can vary depending on your device, your connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet), network conditions and other factors. The result therefore does not necessarily reflect the speed you will experience at all times.
Questions?
Wondering why your speed fluctuates or how to get the fastest connection at home? We’re here to give you a quick and clear answer.
Ask your question hereWhy is my speed test result lower than the speed of my subscription?
The results depend on your device, your connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) and the number of devices using your network at the same time. For the most accurate result, connect your device (e.g. laptop or desktop) directly to your modem or router using an Ethernet cable, limit other internet usage and turn off your VPN.
What is a good download and upload speed?
For most households, a download speed of 100 Mbps is enough for smooth browsing and streaming on multiple devices at the same time. A good upload speed is particularly useful for video calls, cloud backups and sending large files. With DIGI fiber, you can enjoy high, symmetrical speeds for both downloads and uploads.
My internet speed is too slow. What can I do?
First, restart your modem. To do this, unplug the power cable, wait 10 seconds and plug it back in. It may take a few minutes for your modem to fully restart. Then run the speed test again. For the most accurate result, use an Ethernet connection and limit other internet usage while running the test.
