How do I activate my SIM card?
- Keep your mobile number
- Keep your old SIM card in your phone and call 0 800 41 001 to start the transfer process.
- Please keep in mind that the transfer may take up to 24 hours to complete, weekends not included.
- Once the transfer is complete, your old SIM card will lose its connection. Now, insert your new DIGI SIM card into your phone.
- Set up mobile data by configuring the APN settings. You can find the instructions here.

What's roaming?
Roaming lets you use your smartphone when you're outside your home network area, like when you're travelling abroad. It allows you to call, text, and use the internet through local networks in that country.

Why don't I have a Voicemail?
The Voice Mail service is used less and less and is being replaced by other services. Many users now prefer messaging apps like WhatsApp which offer voice messaging capabilities without the need for a traditional voicemail service.
How do I transfer my contacts to another SIM card?
The first thing to do is to identify where your contacts are currently stored. To do this, simply consult your mobile phone's settings. If your contacts are stored :
- in the cloud: Great news! Simply insert your new SIM card and your contacts will automatically synchronize.
- on your phone: In this case, you're all set too! You can change your SIM card and your contacts will be automatically available.
- on your SIM card: You'll need to back up your contacts before changing SIM cards, by following the steps below.
How do I back up my contacts?
The most widespread backup method is the cloud, i.e. saving your data online. It's simple, secure and offers many advantages. To make life easier for you, we've compiled below the procedures to follow, depending on your smartphone and mobile operating system:
Once you've done this, you'll have an up-to-date copy of your contacts on iCloud if you have an iPhone, in your Gmail account if you use an Android smartphone, or in your Outlook account if you have Windows Phone. You can then switch SIM cards in total security.

You can find your PIN and PUK code on the card from which you removed your SIM card.
How do I change my PIN code?

Can I transfer my mobile number from my current operator to DIGI?
Absolutely! You can easily transfer your mobile number from your current operator to DIGI. We take care of everything.
What information do we need from you (if you have a postpaid subscription)?
What information do we need from you (if you have a prepaid subscription)?
If you have a prepaid card (= you need to reload your card), we’ll need your SIM card number from your current operator.
What is a SIM card number?
Your SIM card number, also called ICCID, is a unique identifier for your SIM card. It’s a series of 13-19 digits.
Where can I find my SIM card number?
- On the SIM card itself: Look on the back of your SIM card for a 13-19-digit number. That’s your ICCID.
- In your phone settings:
iPhone:
- Go to settings
- Tap ‘General’
- Tab ‘About’
- Find your ICCID
Android:
- Go to settings
- Tap ‘About phone’ or ‘About device’ (depending on the model)
- Tap ‘SIM status’
- Find your ICCID

Why does my smartphone display LTE instead of 4G?
LTE (short for “Long Term Evolution”) is just another name for 4G. When 4G standards were set in 2008, different terms were introduced to describe high-speed mobile networks. Some phones use “4G”, while others display “LTE” —but either way, you’re getting fast, reliable internet.
VoLTE: What is it and how do I activate it?
What is VoLTE?
VoLTE (Voice over LTE) lets you make calls over 4G while using mobile data at the same time. This means:
✓ Clearer calls with better sound quality
✓ No interruptions; you can browse and stream during calls
✓ Better coverage in areas with strong 4G
To activate VoLTE, you need a compatible smartphone. Currently, VoLTE is supported on Apple and Xiaomi devices (more brands coming soon!).
How do I activate VoLTE?
- On iPhone:
- Update your phone to the latest software.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options. Activate 4G and enable Voice & Data.
- Restart your phone.
- On Xiaomi:
- Update your phone to the latest software.
- Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks, then turn on VoLTE calls.
- Restart your phone.
If VoLTE is active, you’ll see the VoLTE icon during calls.
Does DIGI offer VoWiFi?
Currently, DIGI does not offer VoWiFi services. We’re always working to improve our offerings, so stay tuned for any future updates!
I'm abroad, and my roaming isn't working. What should I do?
If you're in a country where roaming is available* but still experiencing issues, try these steps:
For Android:
- Open the DIGI STK app (this should have installed automatically when you inserted your DIGI SIM.).
- Select ‘RBroker’.
- Under ‘Account Selection’, choose ‘Manual’.
- In the ‘Country’ menu, select ‘DIGI Sponsor’.
For iPhone:
- Open your Settings
- Go to ‘Mobile Service’ > ‘SIM Applications’ > ‘RBroker’.
- Under ‘Account Selection’, choose ‘Manual’.
- In the ‘Country’ menu, select ‘DIGI Sponsor’.
⚠️ Important: When you return to Belgium, don’t forget to switch your settings back from ‘Manual’ to ‘Automatic’ to use your mobile data.
*DIGI offers roaming in most countries, except for the following: Algeria, Bhutan, Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Eritrea, Falkland Islands Malvinas, Liberia, Libya, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, New Caledonia, Norfolk Island, Somalia, Swaziland/Kingdom of Eswatini, Venezuela, and Yemen.

How do I block my SIM card?
If your SIM card is lost or stolen and you wish to block it, follow the procedure below:
- Go to MyDIGI
- Go to Block my SIM card on the homepage
- Select the mobile number linked to the lost or stolen SIM card
- Click on Confirm
- Your SIM card is blocked
- You will automatically receive a new SIM card
What should I do if my SIM card is damaged?
If your SIM card is damaged, simply contact our DIGI Care Team. We will send you a new one by post, and your mobile number will remain the same.
My SIM card isn't working properly, what should I do?
Check the positioning of your SIM card
The problem may be due to poor contact between your device and the SIM card. Remove the SIM card and replace it correctly. Then switch your device off and on again.
Check your mobile phone
If you can, insert your SIM card in another mobile phone to make sure that the card is actually damaged or faulty.
If your SIM card doesn't work even when inserted in another mobile phone, you may need to replace it. Follow the procedure below:
- Contact the DIGI Customer Care
- A new SIM card will be sent to you by post.
- Please note that when you exchange your SIM card, you keep your mobile phone number.
I don't have an Internet connection on my phone; what should I do?

Check if airplane mode is off
In airplane mode, your phone can't connect to the mobile network, so you won't be able to access the internet. Make sure airplane mode is turned off. -
Check your network connection
Check if your phone has a network signal by calling someone or sending a text. If this doesn't work, you might be in an area with no coverage. Try moving around or stepping outside to get a better signal. -

Travelling to the USA?
Please note that standard calls and SMS won't work in the USA due to the end of 2G and 3G support. But don't worry, mobile internet works great, so you can easily stay connected via WhatsApp.
